Parmjit S. Mangat
Mr. Parmjit S. Mangat, B.A., C.F.P., R.C.I.C., President and Founder of West Coast Immigration Consultants, holds the designation of Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (R.C.I.C) and is a member in good standing of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Counsel (I.C.C.R.C.), #R415151.
Mr. Mangat has been a senior consultant and advocate for over twenty years, specializing in Immigration Appeals, Admissibility Hearings, Refugee Claims, Skilled Worker and Business Immigration applications. With 12+ years’ experience as the Program Director of World View Adoption Association, he also has deep, specialized knowledge of immigration processes related to both orphan and relative adoptions.
Prior to working in the field of immigration, Mr. Mangat served as an army officer, supervising investigator, New York State Insurance Fund, and as an adjunct faculty member at Long Island University, New York.
Mr. Mangat is the editor of the Immigration to Canada Digest and has regularly written articles for newspapers and periodicals throughout the world. He appears regularly as a guest on major Canadian and Indian news networks as an immigration expert.
Michelle N. Moore
Michelle N. Moore became a shareholder in West Coast Immigration in 2010 and is the Business Advisor for Investor, Entrepreneur and Self-Employed cases.
Prior to moving to Canada in 2009, Ms. Moore was based in Moscow, Russia for 15 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Ernst & Young. She served as a Partner from 2003 – 2009, launching and leading two management consulting practices, building a $10m practice with over 50 professionals. Her mandates included improvement of corporate governance & transparency, technology strategy & risk management, people & change management, corporate social responsibility, and business optimization across major industry sectors.
In addition to her consulting for West Coast Immigration cases, Ms. Moore also provides business consulting services to other Canadian and internationally based companies.
Educated in the United States and in Germany, Ms. Moore received her M.B.A. from the University of Houston and B.A. from the University of Texas. She is fluent in English, German and Russian.
Mirja Ramsey has been involved in Relative Adoption cases for the past 15+ years. She is also well known in the Canadian adoption community as someone who is qualified to help adoptive families successfully work through the complexities of international adoptions. Prior to joining World View, Mrs. Ramsey was with the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services for more than 20 years. She has a thorough knowledge of the Ontario legislation and policy as it relates to relative international adoptions by Ontario families. She also has extensive experience in working with the Canadian federal government, with foreign adoption authorities and with the Canadian missions in other countries.
Maria Shtemberg manages case work for Relative Adoptions. Maria comes from a diverse background of working for multiple government- funded and non-for-profit organizations both in front line service delivery and project coordination. Ms. Shtemberg has a B.A. in Sociology and extensive experience in assisting clients in navigating the maze of government services, resources and supports and is passionate about helping each and every client whether through dedicated case management, advocacy, and effective relationship building with local and foreign authorities. She is fluent in English and Russian languages.
Martina Valentova has an extensive experience in the field of Canadian immigration law and regulations which she has gained working for the Citizenship and Immigration Canada as well as for International Organization for Migration that has recently become a partner in outsourcing of services for Canadian diplomatic missions worldwide. Martina strives to use her knowledge to offer a professional and efficient service to our clients and assist them in the processing of a wide variety of cases, such as family sponsorship, study permits, work permits, visitor visas, skilled workers, business applicants. She has a B.A. in the field of International Relations with a special emphasis on the Middle East and Africa. Martina speaks fluent English, Czech and Slovak and can also communicate in basic German and Arabic.
